Liturgy
A downloadable game
Liturgy is a fantasy visual novel, where you play as a young acolyte on a journey exploring the different places of worship in a certain area, a tradition to place trainees in the service of the deities they find a kinship with or have an interest in. Perhaps you'll decide to settle in the hall of the World-Eater, or perhaps find fulfillment in the court of the Phoenix. But you'll never know unless you go.

GOOD VN GAME DEV
I'll say up front, I am not usually a visual novel kind of gamer. That said, I really like what you've done with the world, it feels like a unique place! Also, I know that we only had 2 weeks for the jam, but there just wasn't enough on screen to really keep me super interested. I would've really liked to see what the other characters looked like and some more environments. Nice work on what you were able to do in 2 weeks though, I'm sure it was a lot of work!
Really enjoyed what you have so far! Especially the world building and the characters. Looking forward to following the development of this!
The game is a bit out of the realm of what I usually play, but overall the quality of the story was really good! I wish there was some music that added to the atmosphere of the game.
Also, I managed to have the game crash on me xD
Ah, thank you for catching that! I'm glad you liked it, with it being not what you usually play! Haha, music and sfx will be incoming in an update. I just didn't have time during the jam.
Got to say that it seems like your world building was well thought. It is clear what you have here has potential but it is in need of some noise and added visuals for the rest of the characters and actions. Visual novels have the benefit of being able to show and not tell and I feel like that was under utilized.
Nice Visual Novel you have here. This seems to be decently fleshed out and the choices are always interesting on the first couple of runs through! Great job!
Hi and congrats on the game!
As far as I played, the game worked well and had a nice pace to it!
At least for me I missed some audio/songs, I checked my audio settings and they were ok, but no sound played in my experience.
Hi! Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked it.
For now there are no sounds or music in this game. I may put them in later, haha.
